RESPECT, ETHICAL CONDUCT AND RESPONSABILITY

In communicating with clients and the public, the BNP Paribas Group and all its various businesses and departments faces a number of specific challenges. One of these is to ensure that:

- Promotional items comply with social and environmental standards
- Such items are manufactured in workplaces which meet these standards and that the products can be traced back to their origin
- Items distributed internally and/or externally comply with the requirements of the Brand Guidelines
- The products are guaranteed to meet quality standards

The role of the BNP Paribas Shop is to help BNP Paribas entities and businesses to procure promotional materials that meet the requirements of the CSR Charter and the Group’s visual identity rules.

The gifts and other items selected by the BNP Paribas Shop are therefore sourced from manufacturers or factories which are able to commit to meeting the following criteria:

- Long-term requirements relating to social and environmental conduct: all our suppliers have been carefully selected and are regularly assessed through strict in-house and external procedures. Our suppliers are bound contractually to comply not only with the local regulations in force but also with our social policy requirements and the terms of our BNP Paribas Charter.

The Charter, which all suppliers are required to sign, follows the basic principles laid down by the International Labour Organisation (ILO), which are intended to combat child work, slavery and maltreatment of workers and to promote best practice relating to workers’ health & safety.

- Establishing a long-term relationship of trust with our suppliers and partners: it is our policy to work with our selected partners on a long-term basis so as to create a relationship of trust and provide a first-class service – and thereby ensure full satisfaction – for our internal customers.

By working with a carefully selected panel of suppliers, the BNP Paribas Shop is able to provide all its customers with closely-monitored, reliable and safe products.



QUALITY

The central concern of the BNP Paribas Shop is to provide the customer with high-quality products.

Working through our network of suppliers, mainly in Europe and Asia, we seek out manufacturing partners able to provide us with products that meet our quality standards, while ensuring a balanced approach that will enable us to guarantee you, the customer, the best possible price-quality ratio.

We require all our suppliers to sign up to a Charter based on social ethics, not least because we sincerely believe that providing decent working conditions is also likely to lead to good quality products.

Complaints, guarantees and after-sales service

The BNP Paribas Shop provides an after-sales service in conjunction with all our suppliers. A contact person will be available to help you solve any problems you might have with your order.
